ARB will be scrapped says Architectural minister, UK

BD online reports that Ed Vaizey has been appointed architecture minister in England.

He told a pre-election hustings for architects that his favourite buildings included Will Alsop’s Chips development in Manchester and Foster & Partners’ Sage building in Gateshead. But he admitted he was not a fan of Alsop’s The Public building in West Bromwich adding: “It’s out of context with where it is.” -BD Online
